Tha Weekend is upon us…Sorry about Friday June 7, 2008
Posted by thecitypulse in : The Daily Pulse , add a commentHey gang!! Sorry about not posting on Friday. It was a pretty hectic day. I promise to be more productive. Let’s take a look at the weekend:
Saturday June 7: Well today was a scorcher and tonite is gonna be even hotter!!! Tim McGraw is at the Bank of America Pavilion. Did you know that the Pavilion now has fixed seating. You know, real seats!!! No more folding chairs like you were watching a concert at your high school. Plus they’re comfortable and the aisles are roomier. Looking for something a little different, Jazz artist Jenny Scheinman is at the MFA.
Sunday June 8: Former leader of The Wallflowers, Jakob Dylan, is at the Paradise. He’ll be debuting new tunes from his solo record which hits stores on Tuesday. Brazilian singer/songwriter Djavan is at the Orpheum. He’s a big Beatle fan, check out his interview here: www.boston.com/ae/music/articles/ 2008/06/06/bossa_nova_meets_the_beatles/
Check back to thecitypulse.com on Monday for more happenings around town. Plus, on Tuesdays we will give you the rundowns on new releases. (more…)
