Now for the new CD/DVD releases:
U2 - Under A Blood Red Sky - A newly remasterd CD w/a special DVD. Red Rocks Live. That is being released for the first time. This comes as a deluxe edition or both pieces are sold individually. Well worth it. No matter how much you pay.
James Taylor - Covers - Local Guy releases 19th album, his second for the Starbucks label, where he sings other people’s songs. Please skip “Hound Dog,” “Summertime Blues” and aw, hell skip the whole album. Why James, Why?!?!?
Grateful Dead - Rocking the Cradle: Egypt 1978 - To celebrate the 1000th live release from the vaults, well at least it seems to be that many, The Dead finally get around to one of their most famous shows. Of course, there’s a DVD too.
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Their entire catalog gets re-released and re-remasterd(how do they do that?) again!!! Only this time they have rarities and b-sides. Hmmm, just in time for their 40th Anniversary. How convenient.

Ben Folds - Way to Normal - It’s Ben Folds. If you like him, you’ll dig this record.
Jennifer Hudson - Jennifer Hudson Jennifer Hudson - Jennifer Hudson - American Idol cast off and Academy Award winner releases her debut record. That’s right she didn’t win Idol but won an Academy Award for Dreamgirls. Yes, she can sing.
Ani DiFranco - Red Letter Year Ani DiFranco - Red Letter Year -  Ms. DiFranco releases her 18th studio album. It’s very good. She hasn’t lost a step.

Todd Rundgren - Arena Todd Rundgren - Arena - Todd releases his first album in 4 years in an almost 40 year solo career. Very stadium rock friendly.
James Morrison - Songs for You, Truths for Me James Morrison - Songs for you, Truths for me - Mr. Morrison releases his second album. Sure, there’s a lot of songs that sound like Elton John and Rod Stewart. But those guys haven’t sounded this good in years. James has soul.

Kellie Pickler Kellie Pickler - Kellie Pickler - thecitypulses favorite Idol cast off. Her first album did very well. Let’s see if she will have continued success with her sophomore release.
DVD’S
Lewis Black’s Root Of All Evil Season 1
Iron Man
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Adam 12 - Season 2
My Name is Earl - Season 3
