Bon Jovi's Soul Kitchens Re-Open for Outdoor Dining and Take-Out

Updated: Jul 8, 2020

Like many restaurants, JBJ Soul Collective restaurants in Tom River and Red Bank shut down in March. Yet, they managed to uphold their mission to help overcome food insecurity by serving over 7,800 meals to individuals, families, community partners and front-line workers. Run by the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation (yes, that Jon Bon Jovi), this unique restaurant with locations in Toms River or downtown Red Bank has re-opened for first-come outdoor dining, as well as take-out.

There is a set menu that includes a salad, choice of meat, seafood or vegetarian entrée, plus dessert. You pay what you want with a recommended price $20. In addition, kid entrées are now complimentary with purchase of a regular meal. You may also purchase a Pay-it-Forward donation card for $20 to cover the cost of in-need meals. In-need customers will always be seated first as they have no other options for dining.

Your best bet is to get there 20-30 minutes before the restaurants open in the hopes of getting a table.

Red Bank Hours of Operation:

Wednesday – Saturday: 5pm – 7pm

Sunday: 11:30am – 1:30pm

Toms River Hours of Operation:

Tuesday, Friday & Saturday: 5pm – 7pm

Wednesday & Thursday: 11:30am – 1:30pm

You may rub shoulders with the rock star or one of his family members or share a table with in-need customers.
