Trinity Church is one of the most recognizable churches in NYC; Iconic, but the church we know today is actually the third version of the structure. The first, located on the Hudson Riverfront, was destroyed in a fire in 1776. The current church was literally built over-top the second one which was built after the 1776 fire on Wall Street, and Broadway. And whereas there is a lot of really cool history surrounding Trinity Church, we all know it for its famous inhabitants of its burial grounds. This includes, of course, the famous Hamiltons.
