They are set to launch this new spinoff brand, CosMc’s, with the opening of its first location in Bolingbrook, Illinois, this week. And there will be ten more locations, including nine in Texas, by the end of 2024 as part of a one year trial.
CosMc comes from a McDonaldland mascot that was featured in advertisements in the late 1980s and early 1990s. who is an alien from outer space that has a craving for McDonald’s food.
So their menu is inspired by nostalgia, and powered by an array of bold, refreshing beverages and tasty treats. CosMc's locations will transport customers into a futuristic world of fast-food delights, basically touting that they are landing earthside for us humans to enjoy.
CosMc's menu will offer a mix of old favorites such as Egg McMuffins and M&M McFlurries, along with new items such as Churro Frappes and pretzel bites - it's a fast convenient way to satisfy your snack or coffee cravings.
You'll also see a range of specialty lemonades and teas, indulgent blended beverages and cold coffee – think Sour Cherry Energy Slush, Tropical Spiceade and S’mores Cold Brew. Make it yours with customizations at every turn: popping boba, flavor syrups, energy or Vitamin C shots, and so much more.
