Def Leppard's drummer Rick Allen and his wife Lauren Monroe released a new single titled Big Love, which as Lauren says, " It's a mixed bag of genre from rock to roots, the lyrics are very visual and inspirational."
This anthem of our time, is also giving 100% of the proceeds to the rapid response fund Project Resiliency via Lauren & Rick’s charity foundation the Raven Drum Foundation. Lauren and Rick are fierce and vocal advocates for social justice and many years ago founded the Raven Drum Foundation and Project Resiliency, two highly acclaimed undertakings that promote healing and growth for veterans, individuals and families who are facing Covid-19 issues, as well as trauma and difficult life circumstances.
The EP is produced by legendary producer Jim Scott and features many musical heavyweights such as: keyboardist Benmont Tench and drummer Steve Ferrone (Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers), seasoned session vet, lead guitarist Waddy Wachtel (Keith Richards/Linda Ronstadt/Stevie Nicks), drummer Rick Allen (Def Leppard), bassist Bob Glaub (Jackson Browne/Linda Ronstadt/Bonnie Raitt), drummer Kenny Aronoff (John Cougar Mellencamp/ John Fogerty) and others, Big Love shines with its own brand of contagious musical magic.
