Rock Legend Don Felder Brings the "Taking It Back Tour" to Hard Rock Atlantic City This Saturday

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Don Felder is headed to Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City this Saturday, July 11, as part of the Taking It Back Tour, and if you're a fan of classic rock, this is one concert you won't want to miss.
Joining fellow rock legends Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman of The Guess Who, Felder says the evening is packed with hit after hit, making it "three shows in one."
"We're going to be in Atlantic City on July 11th doing a concert with The Guess Who, and it is a great, great show," Felder told The City Pulse during our recent interview. "It's three hours of hit after hit after hit. By the end of the night, everybody is up dancing, rocking, and having a great time."
Felder opens the evening with a set featuring Eagles classics, solo favorites, "Heavy Metal," and even music from his latest album, The Vault. The Guess Who then takes over with an extensive set featuring many of the songs that helped define an era of rock music.
Having toured with countless legendary artists throughout his career, Felder says one of the things he's enjoyed most about this tour is sharing the stage with Cummings and Bachman.
"They're just really nice people," he said. "There's no ego. There's no drama. We're just having a great time playing a lot of great music for a lot of fun people."
Of course, no Don Felder performance would be complete without the song fans wait all night to hear—"Hotel California."
Felder admits performing the iconic guitar masterpiece still requires complete focus.
"Everybody knows every lyric, every guitar lick has to be exactly like the record. I can't make a mistake," he shared. "When I walk out with that white double-neck guitar, the place just explodes because they know what's coming."
Beyond the music, Felder continues using his platform to give back. During each show, he encourages fans to support his ongoing partnership with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, helping raise money for pediatric cancer research through his Rock & Roll Retreat sweepstakes. Every dollar raised goes directly to the hospital's lifesaving mission.
