Fresh Gelato at Cafe Espresso in Riverside, NJ

The BryMax Brothers recently stopped by Cafe Espresso to celebrate the café’s one-year anniversary, and the visit came with a pretty sweet surprise ... they are now serving fresh gelato!

Already known around Riverside for their hand-pressed espresso drinks, homemade cannolis, and fresh breakfast and lunch foods, Cafe Espresso continues to become one of the local hidden gems in South Jersey. During our visit, we grabbed some fresh coffees, breakfast sandwiches, and of course let the boys try out the brand-new gelato flavors that officially launched during the anniversary celebration.

The gelato was smooth, fresh, and packed with flavor. Safe to say the BryMax Brothers definitely approved.

As if the gelato announcement wasn’t enough, Cafe Espresso also revealed some huge news for the future of the business. The owners recently purchased the property next door and announced plans to expand the café, giving customers even more seating room and space to enjoy everything they offer. It’s awesome seeing a local family business continue to grow with the support of the community.

One thing Cafe Espresso has quickly built a reputation for is quality. Their fresh cannolis have become a local favorite, the espresso is hand-pressed and made with care, and the food menu continues to grow with fresh-made options perfect for breakfast or lunch.

Pro Tip

If you plan on visiting during the morning rush, park around back and get there a little early. Seating fills up quickly, especially on weekends. Also, don’t leave without trying both a cannoli and a gelato combo .. trust us on this one.
