Introducing Madison Resort Wildwood Crest: Cape May County's Newest and Largest Beach Resort, Grand Opening Date Revealed!

Madison Resorts, along with their visionary Founder, Dan Alicea, is thrilled to announce the grand opening of Cape May County’s latest and most expansive beach retreat.

Situated at 7201 Ocean Avenue, Madison Resort Wildwood Crest is set to unveil its doors on Thursday, May 16th, accompanied by a ceremonial ribbon-cutting event at 1:30 pm graced by local dignitaries. This launch marks the culmination of a two-year journey for Alicea and his dedicated team.

This new resort merges the charming doo-wop aesthetics of the Oceanview Motel with the distinctive allure of the neighboring Royal Hawaiian property, creating a colossal destination boasting 200 guest rooms, three dining venues, two pools, cabanas, seating for over 100 poolside guests, two hot tubs, beachfront wedding services, two fitness centers, five conference rooms, two rooftop event spaces, and pet-friendly lodging. Reflecting an investment exceeding $52 million, Madison Resorts diligently renovated both former establishments from top to bottom, all while honoring and preserving the iconic doo-wop architectural legacy of the Oceanview Motel.

""We’re thrilled to bring our Madison Resorts family to the Wildwood Crest community," said Alicea. "With this opening, we’re excited to help save and preserve an important piece of Wildwood Crest history, while bringing the Jersey shore its largest new resort. We’ve invested more than $52M in this project as we’re feeling bullish about the future of Wildwood Crest, Cape May and the Jersey Shore.”

Excitement is in the air as the doors to the initial tower of rooms are now open for those eager to be among the first guests to bask in the resort's ambiance, with all towers and accommodations available online in time for the grand opening weekend commencing May 16th.

With the approaching Shore season, visitors in Wildwood Crest will be captivated by the stunning transformation of The Royal Tower (formerly The Royal Hawaiian) and The Madison Tower (formerly The Oceanview) along Ocean Avenue. The Royal Tower now displays the Madison logo and signature sky blue color, while The Madison Tower stands as a modern marvel after a complete reconstruction of the roof, lobby, and pool. The addition of a hot tub, children's pool, cabanas, and a chic lounge area with umbrella-covered seating and hammocks add to the allure.

Stepping into the lobby, guests will encounter vintage elements such as a crosley record player and refurbished mid-century TV, exuding classic beach charm. As they proceed to the second-floor conference area and future restaurant site, visitors will be impressed by the meticulous blend of vintage and contemporary aesthetics within the guest rooms, promising a truly memorable experience.
