Damon Feldman is an internationally known Boxing Promoter and former Boxing Super Middleweight contender who turned his personal tragedy into triumph. Having worked with a large roster of celebrities, he takes their amateur talent and turns it into an exciting reality style fight where both fans of the sport, and fans of the person, come together to enjoy his worldwide celebrity boxing matches.
Although there is a lot of glitz and glam associated with this profession, it's what the public doesn't see that creates all of his motivation. With a storied yet lively past growing up in a boxing family, and a somewhat arduous upbringing, Feldman had no choice but to keep on going. He stayed motivated and accumulated decades of life experience, so it was only fitting to turn his personal journey into a book, which he titled "The 16 Minute Man". Feldman knows that most of us get 15 minutes of fame, but he believes in giving everyone that extra minute to shine.
Being from the Philadelphia area, Feldman always remembers his roots and hosts many of his fights in what some call the home of boxing at the Jersey Shore, Atlantic City. These ringside matches take place at the Showboat, which is a natural fit considering they have the perfect space for events of this size. It also doesn't hurt that he is great friends with Real Estate Developer and Tower Investments CEO, Bart Blatstein, who acquired Showboat in 2016.
"Bart Blatstein is a longtime friend for 20 years, and he gave me 4 words I will never forget, which are now my motto - Never Quit & Never Surrender", Feldman continued, "That's what I am about now, and those words are helping me and others to never quit on your dreams."
Showboat will be Feldman's main platform for Celebrity Boxing, where he will host 4-5 fights a year, with one already on the books for August 29th - barring any changes by New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy.
