Dave Damiani & The No Vacancy Orchestra Bring Four More Free Concerts to the Atlantic City Boardwalk

The “It’s Pure AC – Concert Series” returns to Kennedy Plaza for four final summer performances featuring Grant Geissman, Landau Murphy Jr., Casey Abrams and The Ladies of Miss New Jersey.

Dave Damiani & The No Vacancy Orchestra will perform Tuesdays at 6 p.m. through September 8. The family-friendly concerts are free, with no tickets required.

Supported by the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority through a tourism marketing grant, the series celebrates Atlantic City’s musical legacy while making live orchestral performances accessible to residents and visitors.

“We’re giving everyone a chance to see a real orchestra and feel the music happen,” Damiani said. “That’s what I love about Atlantic City. There’s a history here, there’s an energy here.”

The concerts span the Great American Songbook, jazz, swing, blues, R&B, Motown and contemporary music. Damiani, whose original song “It’s Pure AC” serves as Atlantic City’s official anthem, hopes the series will introduce timeless American music to new generations.

“A live orchestra on the Atlantic City Boardwalk is exactly the kind of experience that captures what makes this destination special,” CRDA Executive Director Eric Scheffler said.

Final Four Concerts

August 18 — Grant Geissman Quartet with The No Vacancy Orchestra

Grammy-nominated guitarist Grant Geissman, known for his memorable solo on Chuck Mangione’s “Feels So Good” and his work on the theme for “Two and a Half Men,” will present an evening of jazz and blues favorites.

August 25 — Landau Murphy Jr. with The No Vacancy Orchestra

The 2011 “America’s Got Talent” winner will perform timeless selections from the Great American Songbook along with Motown favorites.

September 1 — Casey Abrams with The No Vacancy Orchestra

The “American Idol” finalist and viral performer will bring his distinctive musical style and high-energy stage presence to Kennedy Plaza.

September 8 — The Ladies of Miss New Jersey with Dave Damiani & The No Vacancy Orchestra

The series concludes with former Miss New Jersey titleholders and top contestants joining Damiani and the orchestra for a special finale.

All four concerts begin at 6 p.m. at Kennedy Plaza, located at 2301 Boardwalk in Atlantic City. In the event of rain, performances will move to the Claridge Theater.

Admission is free and open to the public.
