Spirit Halloween 2024: CarnEvil Clowns, Terrifier Animatronics, and Spooky Surprises

The BryMax Brothers recently took a trip to Spirit Halloween to explore the latest Halloween merchandise for 2024, and it was a spooky blast! For horror fans and Halloween lovers, Spirit Halloween is a seasonal must-visit, packed with creepy animatronics, decorations, and costumes. Bryman and Nugget couldn’t wait to check out the new themed displays and get a sneak peek at the hottest items hitting shelves this year.

For those unfamiliar with Spirit Halloween, the store has a fascinating history. Founded in 1983, it started as a small pop-up shop and has since become a nationwide phenomenon. Every fall, Spirit Halloween transforms empty retail spaces into massive stores filled with spooky delights. They famously take over abandoned or out-of-business stores for the season, turning these spaces into Halloween wonderlands.

This year, the Spirit Halloween the BryMax Brothers visited was located in Cherry Hill, NJ, inside the old Christmas Tree Shop. “I loved the Christmas Tree Store, so I was a little sad to see it go, but I love Spirit Halloween, so it was a good replacement,” said FireWalks.

The theme for Spirit Halloween 2024 is “CarnEvil,” which brings a terrifying twist to the classic carnival vibe. The store was decked out with creepy clowns, carnival games, and eerie animatronics, but the real showstopper was the Terrifier animatronic. Featuring Art the Clown from the horror film Terrifier (definitely not suitable for kids), these animatronics were a big hit with horror fans, bringing a gruesome and disturbing element to the store.

In addition to the clowns, another big draw was the Beetlejuice section, celebrating the release of Beetlejuice 2. Bryman, a big fan of Spongebob, also checked out the SpongeBob area, as he plans to dress up as the character this Halloween.

Side note: rumors are circulating that Wendy's will offer a limited-time Krabby Patty Special Meal starting October 8th!

One of the biggest highlights from the BryMax Brothers’ visit was checking out the newest animatronics. Here are some of the standouts:

  • 6 Ft Twitching Banshee Animatronic ($229.99)

  • 5.8 Ft Emily Animatronic - Corpse Bride ($299.99)

  • 6.2 Ft Deluxe Ghost Face Animatronic ($279.99)

  • 7 Ft Clowning Around Animatronic ($319.99)

  • 2.5 Ft Cerberus Three Headed Dog Animatronic (On sale for $129.99, originally $199.99)

Nugget even shared his thoughts on the scarier animatronics: “I’m not a big fan of robots—they scare me!” he admitted, but that didn’t stop him from exploring the more mechanical monsters in the store.

Other notable animatronics included Spiders, Cotton Candy Dan, and a new Corpse Bride figure set all adding to the frightful fun. Spirit Halloween had a wide selection of creepy characters to fit every kind of horror fan’s taste.
