Mother’s Day will come flying in this week, and it’s no secret that some of us are procrastinators more prepared than others. With all of the craziness of the past year and all of the excitement for more options this year, I wanted to look around at how Philly and A.C. are celebrating MOM, and found some really great gift ideas that involve an experience, taste and refreshment in our past, future and NOW! Connecting with three local business gals for their unique offerings showed me how great, fun and artsy this Mother’s Day will truly be.

For this year’s gifts, the two Jersey baking girls offered two distinct packages of artistic cupcake creations. One delicious treat included vanilla cupcakes and chocolate cupcakes with vanilla buttercream, and the more adventurous package included lavender cupcakes with lemon buttercream and rose cupcake with vanilla buttercream. Ordering was easy and super personal (and comes with butterflies!) To make the treats, Cake’d Up requested messages sent to 609-705-7009 with the name of the special person, any allergies and special instructions. With pick up in the #Absecon area, the girls also offered limited first-come-first-serve delivery options for a small additional fee for all locals who could not pick up themselves.
