Recently I got invited to a real life event. You remember-ones that are not virtual and where you see people face to face. So 2019 right? Well I was super excited to head to the Wayne Bed & Breakfast Inn for an intimate gathering with celebrity floral designer Brittany McRae. Brittany has traveled the country creating floral designs for red carpet events, movie premieres and Hollywood galas. Now the Abington,PA native has returned home to Montgomery County and set up shop as the Founder & Creative Director of Posh & Bloom. She is now at the point in her career where she wants to bring her expertise closer to home. “I wanted to bring the beauty and drama of florals to the everyday person,” says Brittany. “Often times we see arrangements in magazines or on Instagram and think that it is unattainable. My goal is to share my knowledge, helping individuals amplify events to the next level of fabulous.”
At the recent event I attended organized by Hurray Brands, the small group of us met outdoors in the dreamy garden oasis at the venue. It was a fresh approach to safe and socially distanced gatherings. We had individuals tables, all the tools and flowers we needed and even individual treats from Di Bruno Bros. Brittany and her team led us in a fun and interactive, step by step lesson to design our own floral arrangements depending on our taste and personality. At the end we were able to take our arrangements home. Over a week later mine is still thriving!
Brittany is offering these 2 hour intimate classes to private groups for your next birthday party, bridal shower, corporate team building or casual ladies night out. We were able to see some of the floral jewelry pieces she created and I can't wait to make my own. She also has exciting plans for her new brick & mortar location in 2021.
