Sandy Sprint 5K Returns to Sea Isle City on July 18 for 10th Annual Ovarian Cancer Fundraiser

The shoreline will turn teal once again as the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation hosts its 10th Annual Sandy Sprint 5K on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in Sea Isle City.

The milestone event brings together runners, walkers, survivors, families, and supporters for a meaningful morning dedicated to raising awareness and funding critical ovarian cancer research. Participants of all ages are encouraged to lace up their sneakers and join the community in honoring loved ones, celebrating survivors, and supporting those impacted by ovarian cancer.

Since its inception, the Sandy Sprint has become a beloved summer tradition at the Jersey Shore, combining fitness, community spirit, and philanthropy. Funds raised through the event help advance ovarian cancer research and support programs focused on awareness, education, and patient resources.

Organizers hope to make the 10th anniversary event the largest yet, welcoming both seasoned runners and casual walkers to participate. Whether racing for a personal best or simply showing support, every participant helps further the foundation’s mission of improving outcomes for those affected by ovarian cancer.

The Sandy Sprint Sea Isle City includes a 5K Run, 2 mile Family Fun Walk, Survivor Ceremony and More. 

The event takes place at Excursion Park (JFK blvd & The Promenade)

Race Day Registration Begins at 7:15 am at Excursion Park

Race Start: 8:30 am

Registration Fees: $40 adults, $30 children under 12

Onsite registration and pre-packet pick up takes place on Friday, July 17 from 4-6 PM at Excursion Park and on race morning.  Join them after the race at the Oar House for a post race get together!
